Russian drone 'nearly hits Zelenskiy's flight to Oslo'

A Russian drone strike on a shopping centre in the northern city of Sumy killed three people and injured two, Regional Governor Oleh Hryhorov said. A fire broke out at the badly damaged building as rescue teams worked at the scene.
In the southern Odesa region, Russian drones struck the Starokozache border crossing with Moldova, killing two people and wounding three,. The checkpoint, about 1 km from Moldovan territory and used daily by thousands of people and hundreds of vehicles, was closed.
Ukrainian border guards said Russia had struck five border crossings in recent weeks. Russian drones also struck Kyiv overnight and into Wednesday, killing one person and injuring 14, while causing fires that disrupted businesses and schools, the city's military administration said.

Meanwhile, Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Stoere said the aircraft carrying Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy to Oslo for the funeral of Norway's king was "almost hit" by a drone while taking off from Moldova on Tuesday. Zelenskiy said Ukrainian forces had struck a naval base, oil terminal, military port facilities and missile-carrying warships in Russia's Novorossiysk.
"A response is needed – Moscow must not go into the winter believing that it can get away with drone terror. "
