In a statement shared on Instagram, Komal explained that she had chosen a different path in life, prioritising entrepreneurship, economic self-sufficiency, self-improvement and her journey towards self-love. The actress revealed that she had actually stopped acting nearly five years ago but delayed making an official announcement.
She said she wanted to close this chapter of her life privately, without unnecessary media attention, and concentrate on her new priorities. Komal was last seen on television in the 2021 drama serial. Mohlat.

Reflecting on her time in the entertainment industry, Komal expressed gratitude to her fans for their continued love and support throughout her acting career.
