Hayden Panettiere cause of death revealed

The pill is believed to have been oxycodone containing fentanyl. The report also says investigators are examining a long time drug source in Los Angeles who allegedly supplied prescription drugs outside the legal system. The investigation is reportedly focused on determining where the pill came from and whether the person who supplied it can be identified.

The Drug Enforcement Administration is also said to be involved in efforts to trace the suspected source,. However, the reported fentanyl connection should not be presented as an officially established cause of death at this stage.

The Greenville County Coroner’s Office previously said Panettiere’s autopsy found no signs of trauma that contributed to her death. At the time, officials stated that her cause and manner of death remained pending further investigation and additional studies.

Earlier reporting also indicated that toxicology testing was still pending. It was reported that the coroner’s office expected toxicology results could take approximately eight weeks, although they could become available sooner. The circumstances surrounding Panettiere’s final hours have therefore remained under investigation.

Panettiere leaves behind her daughter, Kaya, whom she shared with former professional boxer Wladimir Klitschko. As authorities continue examining the circumstances surrounding her death, the reported fentanyl laced pill remains an investigative theory rather than an officially confirmed medical finding.
